INGREDIENTS
4 thick pork chops, about 1 inch thick (approx. 3-4lbs.)
1 stick of garlic and herb Kerrygold butter or you can substitute with 3 tablespoons minced Garlic and 4 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of avocado oil
1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons brown sugar
Salt and Pepper
Fresh Parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
Heat avocado oil in a large pan on medium high heat sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside
In the same pan reduce heat to low and add butter, garlic, brown sugar, and whisk until combined, simmer 2-3 minutes.
Place pork chops on a baking sheet and then coat with garlic buttered brown sugar sauce generously on each pork chop dispersing evenly.
Sprinkle a small amount of red pepper flakes on top after that.
Place baking sheet with pork chops in oven for 8-10 minutes or until internal temperature of meat reaches 145F
Remove pork chops and let rest 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley! Side dishes I served with this meal are Super Delicious Southern Style Collard Greens and my Cajun Bacon Black Eyed Peas!
